Independence Month
Happy Independence Month,
It’s already July! So much is happening this Summer, it’s hard to keep my head from spinning. That’s why I try to keep things in order as I do the best I can with the liberty we are blessed with in this nation. This month I thought I would give you a better understanding of what I’m doing with my liberty.
I’ve been reading my bible every day for almost a month now. I know that the more of God’s Wisdom I get the wiser I will be in my private and professional life. I’ve come a long way in my walk with the Lord and I still have a LOT to go.
My wife and I spend every Thursday together with no exceptions if I am in town. It gets real easy to put family on the back burner if I’m not careful. Politics, ministry and everything else has to come second to a healthy family. I will never allow myself to become so engulfed in work that my wife or children get the left overs from me. What my fans get is because of my wife and children. I truly believe I’m writing my best music ever because my family is healthier than ever.
When it comes to freedom, I’m all in! This is the best quality that God has given me. My dream is philanthropy! I pray that my life’s work will make our world a better place. When my family is secure and provided for, everything I earn through my works will be used to repair or erect new guards for our children and the future of freedom.
This Independence Day, I celebrated my liberty to act! God has given me freedom and the heart of a servant. I pray that more of us will ask ourselves in all sincerity, “What can I do for my country!?”

DISTRICT LEADERSHIP
We are still working hard! We have chosen the area that we will be focusing on here in Waco. By looking at the map, I would estimate that our focus area represents at least 20% of Waco’s low income population. My estimate could be close or way off. What’s important is that we have nailed down our target area and it includes three government housing complexes.
I will begin my block walking this month. The mission: Financial Literacy, Business Development, Community Organization and Clean Up. I’m happy, that of all months, I begin fighting for my community’s independence this month! Our battle for liberty begins with the eradication of our chronic dependency problem!
